Teaching
Music is fascinating! When I was little I loved to play around with all the sounds on the piano and see what combinations I could come up with. Occasionally I would find something that I absolutely loved and I would get so excited!
Today as a composer, I actually still do the same thing, but now I have a larger horizon for discovering sounds, a bigger toolbox to organize and refine them with, and a more useful vocabulary for identifying the things that I find and create!
This is what learning music theory can do for creative young minds. It gives them tools for organizing their colorful ideas. It gives names to the mysterious sounds they are uncovering. Music theory is a fancy way of saying "how music works”, and it unlocks the door to so much more creativity.
This is why I am offering private, online, music theory and composition lessons. Click the link if you want to gain the tools to help you write the music you have always dreamed of!
